Before entering the water, our friendly and professional crew will be on hand to assist and instruct you. Once you descend “the stairway to the sea,” you will discover the wonders of the sea with pristine coral reefs and an abundance of marine life including tropical species found no place else on earth. As you return from your Snorkeling Adventure you will sail into the World Famous Key West Sunset aboard a FURY Catamaran. Leave your worries behind as you sail off into Key West’s famous sunset. The Fury sails the tropical waters of Key West with a warm ocean breeze and a magnificent sunset as a backdrop. Toast the end of another perfect day in paradise as you watch the sun slowly disappear beyond the horizon. Relax and enjoy complimentary rum punch, beer, wine and champagne.

Additional Information

• Check-in is at least 30 minutes before the departure time.
• Confirmation will be received at time of booking.
• A valid Government issued photo I.D. and matching credit card used will be required at check-in.
• Children 3 years and under go in for FREE.

Cancellation Policy

• WANNADO TOURS REQUIRES all cancellations be made 4 hours prior to the scheduled departure time to receive a full refund. Any cancellations made same day with less than 4-hour notice for tickets purchased or held will be charged in full and are nonrefundable.
• TRIPS BOOKED WITHIN 4 HOURS OF THE SCHEDULED DEPARTURE TIME ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
• Tours missed are non-refundable.

Weather Policy

• We will not depart in unsafe weather conditions. Should the Captain assess the weather and determine that conditions are unsafe, the tour may be postponed or cancelled. Every effort will be made to reschedule your tour during your stay. If a trip or rental is cancelled by the tour operator for any reason and you cannot reschedule, you will be refunded the full amount of the tour.
• Every effort will be made to run tours, as advertised. Should the tour operator have to amend or alter your tour due extraneous circumstances tickets remain non-refundable on tours taken.

DO YOU PROVIDE PARKING?

No, we do not provide parking at any of our check in locations, but you can use street parking, pay to park lots or parking garages.

IF I HAVE PAID FOR MY TICKETS, WHY DO I STILL NEED TO CHECK IN?

It is necessary for us to collect your paid in full voucher and give you a boarding pass. This helps us maintain an accurate count for the coast guard. You will also be required to fill out various liability waiver forms for the activities.

DO YOU OFFER MILITARY DISCOUNTS?

Yes! To receive a military discount on any of our trips, please book by phone.

DO YOU HAVE LIFE JACKETS FOR CHILDREN?

All guests are provided with Buoyancy Compensators for snorkeling. Life jackets are onboard for everyone in case of emergency.

CAN MY CHILD WHO IS UNDER 18 YEARS OLD GO ON A TRIP BY THEMSELVES?

Children 15 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Children 16-18 may go on a snorkel trip unaccompanied, but only if they have a valid photo ID.

DO YOU PROVIDE WETSUITS?

Wetsuits are available for a small fee per suit (cash or credit).

IS THE SNORKELING GEAR PROVIDED?

Yes, mask, snorkel, fins and buoyancy compensator vests are provided.

CAN I BRING MY OWN SNORKELING GEAR, IS THERE A DISCOUNT IF I DO?

Yes, you are more than welcome to do so, but there is no discount.

DO YOU HAVE UNDERWATER CAMERAS AVAILABLE FOR US?

Yes, we sell disposable underwater cameras at our check in locations.

DO YOU OFFER PRESCRIPTION MASKS?

No, but they may be rented from local dive shops.

WHERE WILL I BE SNORKELING?

The Captain will choose best reef destination for snorkeling based on the marine conditions of the day. There are several possible reef locations you may visit: Sand Key, Rock Key, Eastern Dry Rocks and Western Sambo, just to name a few.

HOW DEEP IS THE WATER WHERE WE SNORKEL?

It ranges from 5-50 feet.

WHEN I AM IN THE WATER SNORKELING, IS THERE ANY PLACE FOR ME TO STAND UP?

No. You will be snorkeling in a protected marine sanctuary, so it is extremely important for you to avoid contact with anything in the water. This includes all corals, marine life, and the sea floor. You must maintain a comfortable distance of 6-8 feet (2-3 meters) from the reef–There is no place for you to stand.

WILL THERE BE INSTRUCTIONS FOR SNORKELING?

Our experienced and CPR certified crew will give you detailed instructions as you sail out to the Living Coral Reef. They will go over the best practices and safe snorkel procedures for your day at the reef.

WILL IT BE A GUIDED SNORKELING TOUR?

No, however, there will be someone from the crew in the water with you for hands on assistance.

IS THERE A CREW MEMBER IN THE WATER TO MAKE SURE WE ARE SAFE?

Yes, a crew member will be in the water with you to ensure your safety.

HOW LONG IS THE SNORKEL TRIP AND HOW MUCH SNORKEL TIME DO WE GET?

The total snorkel trip time is 3 hours. Guests will enjoy about an hour to sun and relax as we sail out to reef, about an hour of reef snorkeling and about another hour to continue relaxing as we sail back towards Key West to get into position to watch the sunset.

HOW MUCH TIME DO WE GET AT THE REEF?

You will be there for about 45 minutes to an hour.

WILL THERE BE ENOUGH SUNLIGHT ON THE SUNSET SNORKEL TRIP FOR US TO HAVE GOOD VISIBILITY FOR SNORKELING?

Yes there is. We adjust the departure time to insure that you will have plenty of sunlight to snorkel.

IS THERE FOOD PROVIDED ON THIS TRIP?

No, but you are more than welcome to bring food with you, just as long nothing is in a glass container.

ARE ALCOHOLIC DRINKS AVAILABLE TO US DURING THE ENTIRE TRIP?

No, As soon as all the guests are onboard and a head count is done, the bar will be open to you.

ARE THE DRINKS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE TRIP?

Yes! We have water and soda available before you snorkel and rum punch, champagne, beer and wine available after you finish snorkeling.

DO YOU HAVE EASY ACCESS IN AND OUT OF THE OCEAN?

Yes, we have a stairway to the sea, which makes it very easy for you to get on and off the catamaran. The Captain may also open a gate on the side of the catamaran for experienced guests to jump in.

ARE THERE LOCKERS ON THE BOAT, WHERE CAN I KEEP MY BELONGINGS?

No, there are no lockers, but you can bring a small bag and leave it where you are sitting on the boat.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN THE CATAMARAN HOLD?

It can take up to 127 guests comfortably.

ARE THERE PLACES TO GET OUT OF THE SUN?

Yes, but the space is limited in the shaded areas.

DO I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SWIM?

To truly enjoy your snorkeling experience you should at least feel comfortable being in open water. While we do offer flotation devices to assist our guests, we recommend that you be able to fully support yourself in 8-20 feet of open water. We take you about 7 miles off of Key West and there will not be a place for you to touch or stand while snorkeling the reef. Our crew is present in the water to assist in an emergency, but will not be able to solely attend to one party for the duration of the trip. For those unable to support themselves, we suggest booking a trip aboard our glass bottom boat or joining us for parasailing.

WHAT IS YOUR WEATHER POLICY?

We do not operate in unsafe weather conditions, but a light rain shower is not a deterrent. The Captain will assess the weather and should the Captain determine that the conditions are unsafe to run the tour, the tour may be postponed or it will be canceled. If a trip is canceled by us for any reason, every effort will be made to reschedule the trip during your stay in Key West. If you are unable to reschedule, you will have the option of receiving a voucher for a future trip or receiving a full refund.
